The ISC section of the school woven with science, Arts and Commerce streams is running successfully. The ISC classes are taken by the council trained teachers who are selected every year to evaluate answer scripts of board examinations.
The school has left an indelible impact in the arena of education churning out district toppers many a time.
The school has got 100% success in the board examination and has innumerable students in the 90%-100% bracket
Score cards are flooded with centrums in most of the subjects. The achievement of the school is not confined to its premises. It has transcended its premises and has carved a niche even in the various competitions organised by the council. The students have achieved laurels in the various literary, cultural and sports events organised by the ASISC.
Living within the constraints of a small town, the Girls Basket Ball team of HRS has paved its way to the Nationals being the only school representing West Bengal in the BASKET BALL NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP conducted by the ASISC.
The girls of our school has been chosen to play for the national team, feat that has not been achieved in the history of west Bengal (Senior Girls Category Basket ball) till date.
The boys of our school have been selected to play for the National team.
The students of our school have also been selected at National Level Quiz Competitions.
Out off 3500 schools all over India, our school was selected to perform at BISWA BANGLA AUDITORIUM on the occasion of the council’s DIAMOND JUBILEE CELEBRATION.
The Annual cultural Programme of the school has been graced more than once with the presence of Mr. Gerry Arathoon, Chief Executive and secretary of the council, who takes out time from his busy schedule to attended the programme.
We have also been a part of the project “ Swiss Films on Wheels” which aims to spread the massage of friendship on the occasion of 70 years of Swiss India Friendship.

The founder Principal of the School has been awarded THE TELEGRAPH LIFELINE ACIEVEMENT AWARD
The founder Principal of the School, Ms Aparajita Saxena has also been conferred with prestigious LIFE TIME ACHIEVEMEN AWARD by the ASISC.
The Rector, Late Mr. S.K. Saxena, was awarded the LIFE TIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD from the LIONS CLUB for his contribution in the field of education.
